When a test gives a list of loads, and ask how much VA load will be added to the feeder, how do you know which ones to consider as a “fixed appliance,” especially when they do not say which ones are secured in place? This is important if applying the demand of 75% for four or more “fixed” appliances.

One question gave a list of appliances such as:

A 1,000 VA microwave
750 VA blower motor 240v
5,000 VA dryer
7,700 VA oven
11,000 VA counter mounted cooking unit
Heater 15,000 VA
compressor 1,200 VA
disposal 900 VA
Water pump 1,600 VA
Water heater 6,000 VA

The answer included loads that were apparently fixed in place and omitted the rest. These included:

Water heater
Water pump
Disposal
Compactor
Microwave
Blower motor

However how is one to know which appliances on a test are fixed appliances? For example, a microwave and blower motor can be portable?
