We all have sympathy and more for the "many down there." But I have to ask again, are we talking about "physis"? He is from the San Francisco Bay area, not from the gulf states.

Reckon poor old Sam can read smoke signals? What time would I need to start so it will be day light where he lives? I am 3 hours from the Atlantic fish pond.

Perhaps Sam has "grown, changed, or become" smart enough to run away from this motely crew.
