I love and hate those. I love the idea, but hate that most of them are such a pain to secure.

Too bad so much junk is out there. I dread most models of Hunter ceiling fans. Brackets with rubber feet are hard to mount, specially on damaged ceiling. Rubber feet also keep falling out when handled. The fans don't hang square to ceiling, the blades often need balancing.
I despise hockey pucks.
Wiremold is OK for straight runs. A real pain with lots of 90's, can't be neatly bent for offsets, etc.
Chandeliers aren't too bad, but I hate ceiling medallions. Flat plastic ones aren't too bad, but I truly hate the thick foam type, especially oval ones. Nothing but trouble. I hate chandeliers in high foyers and no space to spread a ladder.

Crawlspaces and attics. It seemed I was always the skinniest guy on the crew so they stuck me "IN THE HOLE". Dead cats and live rats. What more can a guy ask for!
To show how twisted all of this has made me, I rather enjoy running wiremold.
