White switch legs

I went to an NEC update when the 1999 NEC first came out, and I think I remember there being an issue brought up regarding the use of a white wire in a cable being used as a switch leg or traveller and that it wasn't permmitted. I can't seem to find this reference in the 99 or 2002 NEC. Can anyone help me out on this one? Thanks in advance for your replies.

Yes, the article in the 2002, or the 1999 is 200.7(c)(2)

A white or gray conductor, part of cable assembly, when used as a switch leg has to be reidentified. This was a change in the 1999 NEC, see section 200.7

Perfect! I kept reading 210.4, but I knew that wasn't the article that I needed. Thanks alot!
