Bossman provides the ladders and cordless tools, however I will be getting my own very shortly. There are too many aggravations using his tools, including: batteries that arent charged, and what I call The BEAST ladders: rated for 375lbs (all of the bigger ones). I have a few extra pounds around the midsection but two of me wouldnt tax that ladder. Makes no sense to have or carry a ladder that heavy.
When I was working for myself I used a B&D Firestorm 18V series, always saying I'd upgrade once I made some money. I never did. Never had a tool get lost or stolen; the tools are bright orange and who wants to steal what most consider junk? Also impossible to confuse with DeFault tools.
My boss joked me for getting one of those 4V trim screwdrivers. "How long does it take to hand-bang a cover plate screw?" he asked. I dunno, but since I have about 600 to do, not 1, I figured this would speed things up. Got a $1 raise that week.
