Where did they land all the neutrals and grounds..... I would hate to remove that cover.

From the local supply house who is a Square D distributor. The last one would have been 3 or 4 years ago.

Square D has had 54 circuit panelboards (i.e. NQOand NQOD) available for decades. I believe their 42+ loadcenter line has previously only been available in Canada

All the EGCs that wouldn't fit in the bar would be twisted together and put in one lug, loosely screwed to the back of the panel can.

At least that is what I have seen, far too often... :roll:
 
At a factory here in MA that was built in the early 90s they had one Square D 54 circuit panel. I have no idea why or how but it was full and even had some minnis installed so the circuit count was closer to 60.

I am pretty sure the listing of the panel in that picture has been ignored. Kind of wonder what the neutral bar looks like?

It probably looks like a big honkin' split-bolt.
 
if you can not read the instruction for the panel who cares how many conductors a split bolt can hold..hey virgil I think I can get another one in there and still get the nut to start so we only need one more from the truck..:grin:
