Apparently the folks who teach the world's future... Earth/ground wire could be considered correct as that it what its typically called- the rest not so much.

IMO since the NEC uses the term equipment grounding conductor that's what should be used.

I skimmed through it, and its written with terms that are clearly from GB/UK.

Except the way its written goes against even their own rules. A TT supply would have an RCD or in the old day a VOELCB.
