If you really want a true jobsite blowdart. I mean one that will travel like a bullet and puncture most anything, check this method out.
4' of EMT, 1/2" Both ends deburred inside and out. Longer increases accuracy. Must be a straight piece.
Cone shaped water cups found on job site.
Nails about 1"-2" long, not to heavy (regular nails) Flat head.
Cut the point (bottom) off of the cup. Just enough to losely fit in the conduit. You may have to try one or two times to find the right diameter of the cone.
Insert nail into the cone from the open end. Push through the end of cone with head pushed to the bottom cone. A little glue before installing the nail will make the dart last for several shots.
Position dart into EMT barrel.
Blow a short hard breath into the other end of the barrel.
Note: Do not point at others or anything you want to stay in one piece. This is a very dangerous instrument, and extremly accurate. Have fun.
