Both 3M and Ideal make a Wire connector driver power tool, goes in a 1/4" hex driver to twist on wire nuts
3m is WCD-P
Ideal is 30-902
I think the Ideal will work with 3Ms, I use a lot of the tan wire nuts
When I trim out I have a 1/4" hex driver and use a #1 sq drive for the 6-32 recp screwsAny preference on one over the other?

I have several tools that are for twisting wirenuts. Not much difference in them as they all "grab" the wirenut.
Having said that, the 3M wirenuts have a smooth top and the driver catches the "wings". Ideal Tans have a grooved/splined top. Their driver fits the grooved/splined part.
So I would rather have a driver to fit the wings, but if it does both, that's a bonus.
