Wire Nuts in C1D2 Areas

I understand that wire nuts can be used in C1D2 areas, but do wire ends need other treatment per the NEC? ie:soldering



Not concerned right now with european installations....

I don't believe it is necessary to do anything special to the wire ends. Just follow the instructions on the box the wire nuts came in.
