As NY design engineers we always locate the receptacles on a floor plan with a numeric home run marker indicating the circuit on the panel board. The electricians have always decided where and how to run the wires through floors and walls to get to the load center.
We are now working on a project in the Caribbean and the contractor is asking us to draw the layout where he should put the conduit that will be encased in the concrete slab. Does anyone know a NEC or IBC code citation stating who's is responsible to determine the path route for the wires between the receptacle and panel board.
Thanks>>>>:happysad:
