Just checking, 4/0 AL wiring, four wire URD, should be ok for a pole barn 200 amp sub panel 147' away from the meter/disconnect? Voltage drop seems to be acceptable. Thanks !

outside of possible energy codes dictating otherwise, it really depends on what the load is and what is considered acceptable voltage drop.

Motor starting or any other load with an inrush current can still add temporary voltage drop beyond what steady state loading gives you.

Thank you. Mobile Home Feeder URD is 4/0 4/0 2/0 4 AL. Is this acceptable ? Whenever I feed a 200 a sub panel in a house, I use SER which has different neutral and ground sizes. 4/0 4/0 4/0 2/0.

One slight word of caution. "URD" as a stand alone insulation type is not a recognized NEC conductor. Make sure it has an additional rating such as RHW

I checked, this URD has USE, RHH, RHW-2 on the cables. But MHF 4/0 URD has 2/0 neutral and only #4 ground. The 4/0 SER I use indoors has 4/0 neutral and 2/0 ground. Why the difference and is it ok to use URD with the smaller conductors ?
Thanks!

Because the SER cable really was originally intended to be for use as "service entrance cable". The four wire version would been intended for three phase service cable. The concentric bare conductor is probably 2/0, because it was intended to be the neutral of a service cable. For use as a EGC on a 200 amp feeder it could be as small as 4 AWG.
