Hi, I have done residential for many years but seldom do commercial. My customer is going to install a clothing compactor and clothing baler, each 3 phase, 60 amp, 208 v. I am planning on running (3) #6 Cu and one #8 ground. Am I correct? Thank you.

There is usually some devil in the details with larger machines, particularly if they have motors. I get this all the time: "it's xx amps" and it's usually wrong. Is that the ampacity required (properly calculated? ), breaker size? Just a heads up.

I agree. First question is where does the 60 amp come from?

This sounds like a motor driven machine, if the required breaker is 60 amps and if a single motor is the only load (and some controls) that very likely is about a 10 hp motor and might only require 10 AWG conductors. But if it is a motor that draws ~60 amps, then you are looking at maybe 25 hp and needing 4 AWG conductor and a 100 amp breaker, again if just a single motor load.

More details necessary for a good answer to the OP.
