wire tie MC

Is it ok to wire tie mc? I have a #10/4 MC run over a dropped cieling. there is a condiut rack also running across the overhead. The uni strut for the conduits is ten feet apart. Am I OK to wire tie my MC to the side of one of the conduits between the strut? It would seem more secure then wire tie to just a few hang wires that go to the light fixtures.
