Wire Type

I have to run some No. 16 control wiring between equipment in 1? EMT. I have some type TFFN already. Can I use it for this application? Thanks

Based on my knowledge of TFFN there is no reason why you could not use it.

If you would be able to use # 16 THHN than TFFN is fine. It is supposed to be more resistant to physical abuse.

Sure, no problem. TFFN in raceway is a Class 1 wiring method. We do it all the time.

Thanks all. Since it was listed in table 402.3 as fixture wire, I wasn't sure if it could be run in a raceway as control wiring.
