Yep. Sometimes you do things because there are good solid technical reasons to do it. Other times you do it because the rule book says to, even if the technical reasons for it are maybe not real clear.

One thing I will say... 60? C 140? F is pretty darned hot. you can lay your hand on it, but you ain't gonna keep it there very long.

I wouldn't want the insulation on any cables in my house anywhere near that temperature.
