Working on a new building where client needs Wireless access points. What's a good reference guide on what is needed for to have these devices? Trying to figure out things like how many WAPs are needed, how to space them out, what type of service entrance data devices are needed, etc

I designed and built wireless networks for a living before working full time in solar and getting my electrical license. If you are not experienced in Wi-Fi design and implementation, and your client needs more than one or two access points, you may want to advise them to hire an experienced Wi-Fi designer that understands the process, the theory, and the products. For most commercial buildings, you need to use predictive modeling tools for the design and follow up with performance measurement tools during implementation. It truly is a specialty.
