Anyone know of a hardwired combination smoke/CO2 alarm that has a wireless interconnect that will not only set off the other alarms but will go off when one of the hardwired interconnect alarms is triggered? I have a house that has interconnected smokes in the 2nd level. I'm assuming they are powered off a circuit that was in the attic. I need to add a smoke/CO2 in the main level and one in the basement. I can get hardwired ones in those two places but getting a cable to the attic is nearly impossible without running a conduit on the outside of the house. If I could find hard wired detectors and could put one on each circuit and they would talk to each other and would also be triggered if one of the other hardwired interconnects went off, it would be a lot less cost to the customer. I can find wireless interconnect smokes that are hardwired and wireless interconnect smoke/CO2 but those are battery operated. The only hardwired wireless interconnect smoke/CO2's I could find were Onelink and from what one person said, the wireless unit will set off the other alarms but if one of the others goes off, they won't trigger the alarm on the wireless unit.....Anyone know of a product that would work in this situation? You can replace one of the ones on the second floor that will pair up with the two remotes wirelessly. I think we’ve done it not too long ago. I’ll try to get you model #s tomorrow.
