I have been asked if wireless nurse call systems are allowed in the state of New Jersey. From what I can find, as long as the system is UL 1069 listed, it should not be an issue.

Has anyone else run into this issue?

On a side note, who requires that the system be UL 1069 listed?

I just spoke with someone at the Department of Community Affairs (DCA) in New Jersey and there are no issues with wireless nurse call systems as long they are UL 1069 listed.
