Yes, I have used wiremold(1500) with the outlet facing up,floor mount. I have done several computer labs to where the plan called for quad receptacles facing up.
Not sure what the nec says about this one??:smile:

I guess I am missing something about the issue of having recepts face up unless they are being installed in a dwelling unit countertop / work surface. 406.4 (e). I just did an install in using the 2600 series and it didn't even cross my mind to be honest with you.
