When running Wiremold (or it's derivatives - Mono Systems or Hubbel's product), there is a box fitting/connector that is used to transition the wiremold wireway in to a metal junction box. Is there anything in the NEC that covers how large a gap can show. I've seen installations where the wireway may have not been cut perfectly sqaure, and you can see a small hint of the wires as they pass in to the box. The connector appeared to be frimly seated in to the back side of the wireway, but there were just tiny gaps on the front side of the installation.

Thanks,

Brett

I know exactly what you are referring to. However, being you've received no responses until now, it appears there isn't any in this regard, or nobody knows of any offhand for starters.

I was actually hoping that someone came back and said one of two things:

1. Yeah, the inspector saw it, and had no issue with it - OR
2. The inspector saw it, wrote it up, and I ended up having to take down part
of a run and fix it.

I'm just hoping that people aren't responding to it, because there is something obvious that I don't see in the code. Unless it was a huge gap, and there was concern for something getting in that gap and potentially damaging wires - I don't know what the issue would be.

Thanks,

Brett
