I find conflicting spacing for support clips for Wiremold 500 and 700 series. What do the folks here say, and please site the source. I found two different dimensions in different Wiremold data sheets. Let's see what the experts here say.

Thanks,

Brett

What clips are available to support the V500, V700 and 700WH series raceways?
Support clips V5703 can be used with either size raceway. The clips are fastened to the wall at approximately 32" intervals. The raceway is then snapped into the clips. The 5703WH Support Clips are used with the 700WH raceway in the same manner. Mounting Straps, V504, V704 (Ivory) and 704WH (White) are used to provide an alternative for an uneven surface. The raceway is placed in position and the strap is fastened to the surface over the raceway at approximately 32" intervals.

Straight from the horse's mouth:

I wonder if the inspectors would call a Mono Systems installation if it was 32"?

Hopefully, they will call Mono Systems exactly what it is: absolute, complete, and total junk. The best Mono System installation I've seen is in the bottom of a dumpster.

Wow - Peter - sounds like you had a bad time with it. What were the issues? I've seen it, but at first glance, it's hard to distinguish. Is it a matter of how it goes together?

THanks

Pete and I are finishing a job up that the customer supplied the Mono systems plugmold for.

I hate it.

The stuff falls apart when disassembled, the mounting studs are likely to pinch the factory conductors.

It is not as easily shortened as the WM equivalent.
