A lot of people mistakenly associate higher prices with higher quality. Its just not so.


If it was me, they'd all be the crimp on style. Even cheaper and hold a lot better.

The first line is the opposite of what I find to be reality.

The second line is also what I find to be the opposite of reality.

I try to buy quality products and compete, maybe my profit's are less than another guys, BUT I feel in the long run QUALITY counts and if I lose, shame on me.

I also have loyalty to my suppliers and like what I like, so I buy that product (maybe blindly)

I was never a fan of the cheepo tape. During a cold winter that tape will just fall of the roll. And it never holds.

I like to buy 3M black tape for wrapping splices or covering rubber tape, I only by "cheepo" colored tape for phase coloring wire, and the "Cheepo" colored tape that i use actually has half way decent stretch to it, and I have never had problem with the adhesive on it.

IIf you want to save a couple of bucks buy cheeper high hat trims or something in those lines.

But, the HO can SEE the high hat trim.:roll: Most people that don't know only want to spend more money on things they can see, or have an understanding of.
