How do you estimate the lifespan of wiring materials?Could there be some maximun testing procedures for the high performance quality of the wiring conductors.? :roll:

For me, it is the same time as the warranty expires.
ANSI/IEEE Standards should address the life span and rate of degradation of insulation of wiring.
There is so many variables, so there would be a lot of speculation.
You might search the IEEE site for standards.
I have noticed that some electrical material and equipment is lasting about as long as me. Then it is trash.
