I am installing wireway in a industrial setting and wonderd why in a horizontal application do the dividers between high and low voltage running the length are only 4" when the wireway is 6". It seams to me that they could at least make them 5 1/2". It seams kind of chinsy the way they have it designed.

Is this a field installed barrier or did it come from the manufacturer? Sounds like someone installed a 4" barrier in a 6" wireway.

Come to think of it, I cant remember ever seeing a wireway with a divider shorter than the wireway.
I'm not sure I'v seen a wireway with a divider.
