I am wiring my addition and have some questions - house is in Pennsylvania - maybe you can help:
Kitchen:
I have an Eat'in area to the left of my kitchen and a dining room to theright. So it goes, Eat in area, kitchen, dining room.
I found a circuit in dining room (existing - newly wired) with just two outlets on it. Can I use this circuit to feed the lights in my kitchen. Can I use it to feed a vent hood above a range, or feed the plug for a GAS range? Can I use it to feed anythign in the kitchen or eat in area? Do the outlets in the Eat IN area need GFCI?
How many outlets Max can be on the 2 countertop circuits? Outlet every 2 feet - correct? I will have an island in the kitchen, how do I rough in the wiring with no island there now?
I'm running a circuit to the Eat'in area, can I also use this circuit to pick up 3 outlets in the living room?
I've heard that the dishwasher and garbage disposal Should and should not be on seperate circuits. What do you prefer? Can I put the garbage disposal be on the circuit that I pulled for the Eat in area?
Bedrooms:
Do bedrooms need to be on AFCI ciruits now? Does each bedroom need to be on its own circuit - or can they share?
Basement:
Do I need to wire the rough in for the basement for the inspection if it will be unusable now?
Thank you,
