Okay, I drew a picture to try and explain a few things, but this is where I am at. I tried to convert these 3 outlets to GCFI and of course I did not take pictures or notes on how they were setup originally. The outlet with a ground cable was on a 3 prong outlet, but I don't remember if it was actually connected to ground, I feel like it was on the common side. The other 2 outlets were on 2 prong outlets. All wires are black so it is very difficult to keep track of which wire is which. I cannot get the overhead lights to turn back on. This also affects the ceiling lights in the guest bedroom and basement landing light. I cannot get them reconfigured even with going back to 2 prong outlets. Any advice?
