Heck you are going to use MC to daisy chain from receptacle to receptacle so why not just start with MC cable. Fewer junction boxes and less materials needed on the job. Simple and quick.

I think I could knock this job out pretty darn quick with MC cable so I agree with Dennis. Why would I want to carry in spools of wire and set up a pull if I don't have to.

Years ago I didn't like MC cable because I though it was for lazy people now I love it because I know it's for lazy people (me).

I'd like to know why it's company policy.

My friend who owned the company was also a PE, so we did a lot of design/build. He wrote his own specs and we did our own drawings, which he would stamp.
The requirements he put in his specs were adhered to on his designs, and the other plan/spec work we did, we adhered to those specs. Both situations always disallowed MC homeruns.
Our guys never had to question it or think about it. MC homeruns is just one of many company standards he required.

What is cheaper any way pipe and wire or mc run lets say 100' 3 ckts
Average amount of bends??
