wiring on trees, 300.5 (D) (4) Liquid tight cannot be used ?

It sounds like UF wire coming out of the ground on to a tree would not allow sch 40 pvc or liquid tight. The only nonmetallic raceway allowed is sch 80. Is this correct ? Thank you

Expansion fittings are available for PVC, flex requires a zigzag.
 
Homeless break boxes to access outlets, and outdoor raceways are vandalized at most establishments that serve alcohol.
I think in those areas prone to the damage you describe you could argue they are subject to physical damage. But a location such as one not accessible to the public or vehicular traffic likely would not be considered subject to physical damage. Therefore schedule 40 could sometimes be used
