I bought an RV park need to reroute some power to several RV spaces from a new pedestal. The old source has shoddy electrical issues that I don't wish to repair. I am not an electrician.

I'm going to be digging a trench from a Eaten Cutler-Hammer breaker box (with 200 amp service) to 5 separate RV pads, the furthest away being about 120 ft from the breaker box. I intend to mount 50 amp power receptacles at each RV pad on a treated 4x4 post.

I have never looked at NEC code before and could use a hand on determining the code requirements and necessary parts for the job. I need to know the wire requirements, and whether I can do direct burial vs PVC, type of cable, etc.. I will have an electrician do the final hookups but I will dig the trenches and put in the infrastructure.

I am in Washington State.

Any tips on getting started would be appreciated. Thanks,

John
