Wood inside fixture canopy

I got a fixture spec with claims to be "Approved to UL standards by CSA" :rolleyes:

Would you put it up like that? (in a 60 story building)

And it weighs over 80 Lbs. The balls are solid glass.

These fixtures are only 140W for the halogen/xenon version and 3.5W for the LED version. I'm going to guess that the transformers are the plastic encased types that run pretty cool at less than 50W each (electronic if LED version). It also appears that they're not necessarily in contact with the plywood since they get mounted to the canopy pan. The canopy is 2" deep, so there's probably a decent amount of space between them and the wood. I would be able to sleep at night :)

To put it another way, I'd be way more worried about someone's kitchen cabinets igniting from an Ambiance install than that piece of plywood igniting from those transformers.
