A VERY good customer of ours wants to renovate his parens kitchen on Staten Island as an anniversary gift. My license is good only in here in New Jersey of course. In the past, I have done work in other states for previous employers who have made arrangements with a contractor there to work under his license as a sub contractor, for a fee of course. And we have done work in several Lowe's here were they have electricians who come in from North Carolina to do the same. Provided we take care of all the legitimate legal and insurance paperwork, I can't see where this wouldn't be beneficial to both parties. So the question is, how do I find someone reputable on Staten Island who would be willing to do this? I am an IEC member, but I don't knowif this is something that could be handled chapter to chapter or not. Your advice in advancce is always appreciated.
