it's made by 3M company... their model 33+......
apply model 33 connector to cord until it just slips
inside conduit, slip it half way in, and apply three
layers of model 33 connector to outside of conduit.

bends are made by a rigid bender for copper and process pipe.
see attached photo with overenthusiastic bending exercise. :smile:
7 90's in 4 feet. bends are a tighter radius than nec permits, truth be told.
rise on 90 is 3 1/4". shrink on 90 is 1 1/4"

it works well for conveyor work, where things get cozy.

it also works well when you have to get into a pipe on a rack without
taking it all apart. cut the pipe, bend two offsets to get above or below
the rest of the conduits, and cut the ends enough to slip in a t condulet.
it'll do nice tight offsets up in the air.

ok. i admit it. i'm a pipe freak. i like nice pipework. so there.

Ah yes, the good old model 33+ ;) Yeah I'm into bending pipe as well, when I was doing commercial work I was the only guy on site that owned their own benders, I like Greenlee benders by the way.

That pic you sent looks like one of those optical illusion images. You know, the one that looks like the steps on a stairway keeps going up.
 
If you have a surplus of those fixtures, I'm envisioning a tree... Mount four (or six, or EIGHT!) of those fluorescents on a telescoping pole... You could make them all facing different directions for 360 degrees of imitation-daylight. Or maybe you could have a battery of them all focused on one spot....

It would be the brightest portable light... KNOWN TO MAN.

Oh, you could get so carried away with this. :D

Man, you have some really nice pipe work... you really do.

When someone asked what kind of connector you had on the end there... it was all I could do to not burst out laughing...

And, even though they do sell the non hot CFL type of work light, I like your approach at "eating" a job... You made something good out of something that was much less. I say Kudos to you!

So, how much for one??? :grin::grin::grin:
