I got one of those Greenlee circuit tracers from Grainger and used it one day ( about an hour) and I took it back because I was not satisfied with the quality for the price. I didn't think much of it.

If I were you I would take it back and get a return. I don't keep tools that don't work anymore.

When using a tubing cutter to cut EMT the tubing needs extra reaming after cutting, and the cutter can also run anything but true to a stright cut.

the tool claims you can cut and not have to ream.

If you score the EMT with the tubing cutter to a depth about have the thinkness of the walls and then snap the conduit sometimes this will leave an edge that does not require any additional reaming. This is tought to do, so I never use tubing cutters and use either a hacksaw or cordless sawsall.

have any of you used the new mini sawzall from Milwaukee? Our shop got a few a little while back and they weren't worth the money...it seemed that when you put enough pressure on the blade to cut a piece of emt, the thing binds up...we tried fresh batteries, new blades, multiple tries with the same result.

Like others stated, when or if I use a cutter I score half way through and bang the cut side on the ground which "snaps" off the piece. Still needs a ream but much less.

i seen those romex strippers and i probably wont buy them ever. klein needs to get back to making quality handtools and not slapping the klein tools name on every piece of crap that comes through
