I am powering a single pole switch off the load side of a GFCI. The switch powers a very low amperage fluorescent fixture. Would turning the switch on trip the GFCI?
High parasitic capacitive current surge caused by the inductive kick when you open the switch at just the right part of the cycle?I have a fluorescent fixture in our bathroom that is on a GFCI, and a few of times a year, the GFCI will trip when you turn the light off.
