My neighbor recently hired a contractor to perform some repairs in a house he was selling. The contractor told my neighbor he was licensed in all 50 states.

That's a LOT of licensing to keep up with......Must cost a fortune every year with renewals.

I'd ask for proof on that one in a heartbeat.:cool:

I stand corrected. I wasn't aware the state used the term "certified"

I'm a little surprised. I guess you don't read the CSLB's newsletter?

They have not begun enforcing it yet but it's the law. Your employees are technically required to be certified.

I'd tell him ya, sure buddy. Just like I'm president of the United States. Were there any white rings under this guys nose per chance?

I have 2 masters licenses, and a J card, to cover most of the west (reciprocity of cards to just work, not necessarily contract), and I snivel about the cost.
