X-ray feeder/OC discepency

Am I reading wrong or does 517.73(2) conflict with 660.6? 517.73 is a lot more lenient but which one do we follow?

Article 517 Xrays and Art 660 Xrays are requirements for two different types of occupancies.

517 is for medical use, 660 is for nonmedical use.
Read the scope of Art 660.
