I guess the question was more about the vibration isolators someone indicated that the xfmrs already have isolators any by adding isolators to isolators it can create problems in the transformer? We find it necessary due to the reduced size of electrical rooms being squeezed down every day by designers besides the fact the always want to put the electrical room on an outside wall adjacent to the stair and or elevator not to mention they do not even want to stack the closets making it harder to install I would think (more conduit / offsets / fittings / wire) the detail developed indicates a unistrut rack bolted to a equipment pad (4?) with 12? clearance between transformers and maintaining the recommend clearances and the second xfmr. mounted to vibration isolators (the original question), to help resolve the heat problem we specify 80?C rise transformers with 220? insulation depending on the situation and the ventilation in the space I agree stacking may not always be the best option due to heat.
