Seen many like that. It is actually amazing how bad a wiring job can be and people still live to talk about it. :grin:

I guess the odds are in our favor but when you lose to the odds it can be fatal.

Yup

This was in a small building where they used only a few lights and a phone system.
A pipe froze this winter and flooded the place.
When the cleaning company came and plugged in their giant dehumidifiers and vent fans the wonder splice started smoking.
