In my state, you have to be 16 years old to be registered as an apprentice.

How does that work? OSHA says you have to be 18 to be on a construction site.

Company I work for has employed summer help at age 16. It was a prevailing wage job too. Those boys took home some serious coin for 3 months.

I suppose it could be 18. I don't really know. I was making a poor attempt at humor.

Yes but what constitutes stand-up room for me that is 6foot 6 inches for my helper it is 4foot 3 inches.

I believe this is covered by building code.

I've seen enough examples where a short piece of PVC was run through a wall, but wound up being extended on one or both sides to clear an obstacle and make it easier to access, so that the total end-to-end length exceeded 24". Sometime even an LB with an extension to clear something.

I've learned not to assume much, not even that a piece of conduit passing through an 8" thick wall will be less than 24" in total length.
