My specs on a particular job call for me to use 12-5 type SJ cord for my connection from the J-box to the suspended fixture. There will be 2 - 277V circuits, with seperate nuetrals. My question is, am I violationg the voltage restrictions of this 300V rated cord? Obviously, there will be 480V in the cord, although each hot and nuetral conductor is only 277V. Which voltage do I go by?
