It has a sink. It will have a microwave on a shelf. Is the microwave considered permanent?

I think I remember reading an rop where the cmp stated a bolted in microwave does not a kitchen make. Can't look now, though.
Where I'm at if it has a sink and the microwave is mounted you now have a kitchen per ahj
Its on our countys contractor web site. Its a ruling on the definition of a kitchen as they see it. It boils down to the definition of permanent facilities for food prep and cooking. They say it is.
article 100 it looks new
KITCHEN. An area with a sink and permanent facilities for food preparation and cooking.

COOKING UNIT.....one or more heating elements
Is a microwave a cooking unit?
I say cooking really isnt microwaving something but you are cooking something. I had been just gfi and now I may not.
I love it. You get four smilies from me.If you dont need tools to steal it then its not permanently installed.
