Relays between a Separately Derived System (SDS)

I have an isolation transformer serving a marina application with the applicable code being the 2020 NEC. Homeowner wants to control lighting on the downstream SDS by a switch upstream the SDS. My plan was to utilize a 120VAC relay to bridge the SDS. Anything I need to be aware between EGC, GFCI on the upstream system, or overall permissibility with regard to use of relays?
 
One way that would certainly be compliant, if not the least cost, is having a wireless transmitter and receiver bridge the two SDS.

Direct wiring is only going to cost $20 for the relay. However, I do like this idea and will save it for future plans!

Plus who knows how much for electrician labor.

I think as long as you are not bringing foreign power to the dock you are OK. So the relay can't be on the dock.
