Anyone ever wired a plug load receptacle not tied into lighting control but tied into relay panel( schedule based) like one below.

I'd assume it's the same for this...#18 or similar run to receptacle. Didn't know you can run #18 to receptacle.


 
I don't see 18awg running to a receptacle in your link. Probably 18awg is only used for the relay control circuit.
Circuits go from 120/208v panel to relay panel then from relay panel to receptacle. That's how it's wired.
My question is I don't think you run 600V #12's to the receptacle from the relay panel. Think you run low voltage #16 or #18.
 
The single pole relays have a 30 amp rating with some limits based on type of loads. The receptacle branch circuit conductors for example #12 AWG run through the relay.

I think you are getting it wrong. The circuit that supplies power to the receptacle must still be rated for the receptacle load, e.g 14 or 12awg typically.

The link you posted doesn't show any receptacles. It only shows relay controls. Your low voltage wiring is between your relay panel and the relay controls.
 
The difference between this and some lighting control systems is that, whereas the lighting may use low voltage lamps and fixtures, anything plugged into a 120V receptacle is still going to be a 120V load.
