If I'm running 2 hots, 1 SSBJ, 1N and 1G from secondary side of xfrmr to a 2P disconnect switch where would the SSBJ land in the disconnect switch?

Thanks. On a side note

1. If you have a 3P fused disconnect switch can you only use 2 poles?
2. If you have a 3 phase xfrmr and only need 2 phase conductors on the secondary side( running to disconnect in item #1). Can you do that?

I wasn't aware the ground could be the SSBJ. Thank you.
Basically the EGC and the SSBJ perform the same function. So they are just different names for the same thing depending on whether it is upstream or downstream from the first OCPD on the supply system. Because the EGC sizing rules are based on the size of the upstream OCPD, and so they can't apply upstream of the first OCPD.

Cheers, Wayne
