Following on this thread. Do we still need to consider the inrush current of a motor? Given that your using VFD controller

When do you consider the inrush current of the motor? The requirements for the VFD do not change the requirements for the motor. The VFD may change the current via programming of parameters but it does not change conductor size. I may change parameters tomorrow.

The inrush of the motor is controlled by the VFD. In any case, inrush is not something the code requires be taken into consideration.
