I have an inspector stating the NMB cannot be ran in the exterior walls of a dwelling or bathroom, because they are both wet locations.
Holy Banana! That means every house I wired and inspected is doomed to fail!!!!!!!!!!I have an inspector stating the NMB cannot be ran in the exterior walls of a dwelling or bathroom, because they are both wet locations.
AHJ or HI?inspector
Maybe the plumbing inspector was filling in for electrical that day. As some areas don't allow plumbing on the outside walls due to freezing.I have an inspector stating the NMB cannot be ran in the exterior walls of a dwelling or bathroom, because they are both wet locations.
It may have something to do with fire getting air through the panel.i have an inspector stating an electrical panel cannot be installed in an insulated cavity in a home garage
If it installed in the common wall, the building code doesn't allow it. Some jurisdictions don't care. Mine didn't.i have an inspector stating an electrical panel cannot be installed in an insulated cavity in a home garage
