That may or may not be true. In the theater project I'm currently involved with it's not true. But I agree that it's a poor design and would opt for more conduits with less CCC's. That was one of the reasons that I said that the conduit I would use would be 1" or 1.25".

All I am saying is it could go either way. If each circuit is supplying a fixed load I don't see a problem, if each circuit supplies lighting receptacles for changing lighting equipment I would want to wire for worst case loading.

I agree with you, more conduits of smaller sizes. :smile:

You're 100% correct. In some installations dimmer racks do serve receptacles.
