200 amp services all electric houses

I don't do residential work my self. Just the pump end of things. But at least half the new houses I go to anymore have a twin 200 service.

Do they have electric heat? That is common here if they have electric heat totaling over 20-25 kW. Less heat then that and it is usually just a 200 amp supply.

Yeah, just about every home is 100% electric. Just looked at my power bill. We're paying the outrageous price of 4.5 cents/KWH. Well, we think it's outrageous, since we can remember when it was under a penny.
