Hello guys and gals.
Just ordered my Analysis of Changes and Handbook from NFPA. Here is a list of changes that my continuing education classes brought up. Just curious if you guys know of anymore changes for residential not on my list and what your opinion on the changes are.
Archfaults basically in all circuits that are not GFI protected. Thats not the exact wording just generally worded.
All 15 and 20 amp outlets in garages unfinished areas need to be GFCI. Including door openers, pumps and central vac excluding alarm circuits.
Places like decks above grade are required to have GFCI.
Childproof receptacle covers.
A terminal block near the service for other utilities to hook ground to.
Thanks for the replies.
